Greenhorn is a free of charge music program operating summer camps, performance and volunteer opportunities out of Britannia Community Centre!
Summer 2026 workshops will be held August24-28, 2026, 10 am to 2 PM at šxʷqʷeləwən ct, the Carving Pavilion at Britannia Community Centre. We are always accepting new members: follow this link to register.
Don’t miss our performances at Honk! BC August 28, 29, September 19 and 26. Come see performances from Greenhorn and other local talent including the Carnival Band, The Rainbow Band, and our special guests. As Greenhorn does not charge any fees to youth or their families, we rely on support from the community to make this program happen. Contact Brenda or Tim to donate!
Greenhorn is managed by the Open Air Orchestra Society, a volunteer-run not-for-profit society whose mission it is to fill the city with live, original music from around the world as a means to personal and political empowerment, creativity, and wellness.
